The top of Spot is Sitka Spruce which gives her focus and ample voice. The back, sides, and neck are figured Aspen - a very rare find in widths large enough to build a guitar. Fingerboard, head veneers and other bits are ebony. 16 1/2" lower bout, 2 3/4" thick at the end block, 2 1/2" thick at the neck block, and it weighs in at a mere 3 1/2 pounds!

The string height can be adjusted by the player with a simple hidden screw that elevates the neck, adjusting the action without the need to retune.

The tailpiece is aluminum and is adjustable for height. Pickguard is ebony over carbon fiber.

The sound hole is in the upper bout and opens into the front and top side of the guitar. This dual design delivers the total power of the guitar directly to the player's ears.

The peg strip is hand made and uses the finest quality Waverly gear components.
